Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MSP Alasdair Allan will be hosting a public meeting at 7.30pm, Monday 28th November in the Bayhead Bridge Centre, Stornoway to discuss Europe, Brexit and Independence with islanders.

This meeting forms part of the SNP’s National Survey, launched in September by Nicola Sturgeon, and is intended to be a constructive listening exercise as the SNP aims to engage with at least 2 million people by St Andrew's Day.

Alasdair Allan commented:

“So much has changed in politics over the last couple of years. The UK that Scotland voted to stay a part of in 2014 is very different to the one people are faced with today, as are the arguments around independence. With this in mind, I am very keen to hear about people’s feelings and thoughts on Europe, Brexit and Independence.

This is very much a listening exercise centred around hearing the public’s views and leading a discussion on the kind of Scotland we want to build.

“Please join me for a discussion on how Scotland is changing, and to let us know your views on the political landscape."
